Thermal and moisture investigation
A visual inspection is limited by what is visible. Instrument-assisted investigation adds thermal imaging cameras, radar-based motion detection, moisture meters and acoustic tools to flag anomalies inside walls and under floors (heat signatures, damp gradients and movement consistent with concealed activity) without cutting anything open.

Timing
When it's needed
Most useful where construction hides the story: rendered walls over brick veneer, enclosed patios over slab edges, or a property where an ordinary inspection found conducive conditions but no visible entry. Instruments narrow the search before any drilling or panel removal is discussed.
Never disturb live termites or break open their workings, you will scatter the colony and make treatment harder to target. Take care around damaged flooring and decks, and treat any softened structural timber as unsafe to load until it has been assessed.
